Monday, October 5th, 2009
Congratulations to Zane Davis on his 2009 Snaffle Bit Futurity Open Championship on Reymanator. Zane was leading the pack during the preliminaries and scored a 218.5 in the herd work and a 214 in the rein work. That meant it all came down to the cow work. The crowd held their breath as Zane was last to go and scored a 220 in the cow work, taking the win. Splitting second, was Boyd Rice and Picka Patcha Pepto and Todd Crawford and Shiners Nickel, with identical scores of 446.5. We would like to congratulate all of the 2009 Snaffle Bit Futurity Contestants on their successes.
Co-Champions and Platinum clients Boyd Rice and Todd Crawford are pictured above.

Cow Horse Trainer Robbie Boyce and “Soft N Shiney”
Monday, June 29th, 2009I know Robbie Boyce is a trainer. But he is also more, he is a horseman. The unassuming Texas transplant has been a fixture in the NRCHA for quite some time, and has spent time training with some of the best in the business. Now, Robbie is someone that other people want to ride with. His humble manner and great eye make him a perfect training partner. Here he talks about the demands placed on a Reined Cow Horse and how his program gets horses, like Soft N Shiney ready to compete.
Boyd Rice Joins Team PLATINUM
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009
Actually, Boyd has been a Platinum Performance Client for several years. But, recently, he was formally asked to be part of the Team. He has been on a string of successes for the past several years that would rival any Cutter or Reined Cowhorse trainer out there, including a winning run at the 2009 NCHA Super Stakes that many people are calling the best cutting run they have ever seen. Boyd,we are proud to have you on the team and looking forward to helping you keep your horses ready for competition!
Lyle Lovett and His Horses
Monday, April 27th, 2009I’d heard that he was an incredibly nice person. But, that didn’t prepare me for just how gracious a man Lyle Lovett really is. See what he had to say about growing up around horses, the breeding program he started over 25 years ago and why he still does it today. And, just watch him ride!
