Grace is a seven year old Arabian I got two years ago. She was not even halter broke. I found her in Texas and hauled her back to Vermont and started to train her. I got her as a endurance prospect. I did a number of 50 mile rides last year and 70 miles of the Vermont 100. She had a metabolic issue. After that I put her on Platinum Performance, Metabolic support and Platinum’s vitamin E. I continued to compete in 50s through the fall and had no issues. In December I took her to Florida and attempted another 100. She completed with all A’s and was in wonderful condition. I also have cut her feed back as she seems to be maintaining weight condition wonderfully. I contribute this a lot to Platinum Performance. Thanks so much!

SRF UNIQUE WIND (WINDY) is a granddaughter of Desperado V. She is a black bay. Very smart. Windy knows many natural horsemanship feats. She rears on command, bows on when asked, picks of the ball and throws it and so much more. But more than that she is a special friend who loves to be with people. Windy is my second Arabian. She picked me after Dream passed away. I love her. My Nephew helped design your facility. He knows little about horses and he told me that you are wonderful, caring people who wanted the cleanest, most up to date facility to produce your feed and supplements. Sandy Melendi- Delray Beach, Florida

I have three wonderful Arabians. Their names are Mystiko, Song and EJ. I have had then 8, 7, and 5 years respectively. Although Song is retired from endurance riding, the other two are actively participating in the sport. All three love their ‘jobs’ and eagerly run down the trail jumping all obstacles in their paths. They come when they are called, especially when they know that they’re going to get their grain and Platinum. In fact, they are so spoiled as they know they’ll get a Platinum bar when we’ve been riding for several hours. Now they think that all food in wrappers is Platinum bar.

Catherine Grimes- Castle Rock, CO

I have a purebred Arabian colt who was born on April 28th, 2008 to a maiden mare. His name is Flames Maestro. His mother rejected him and actually tried to kill him. I had to lease a nurse mare to raise him for the first 6 months of his life. At 3 months, he was having his feet trimmed for the first time. The nursemare became nervous and communicated it to the colt. He reared and fell, breaking his right rear femur. This was my very first breeding, and I thought it was going to end that very day. But, my vet suggested we call Purdue University and see what they thought his chances were. Because of his small size and age, they felt he had a chance to make it. They did surgery and placed plates on either side of the bone to support it while it regrew. Actually, the plates (and 16 screws) will stay in there forever. The past year has been a long road to recovery, but thanks to his strength of will and help from a number of caring people, he’s has survived and thrived. He will begin halter training next month and I’m going to show him for the very first time in September. He is descended from champions. No matter how he does in the show ring, however, he’s already a champion to me. After his surgery, I started him on Osteon and he’s been on it ever since. Now that his bone’s healed, I’m thinking about switching him to Platinum Performance. I’m trying my hand at breeding again. If successful, I will start the foal on your products as soon as possible to ensure his/her health!

Sandy McCollum- Fishers, IN

Mercuric, a 9 year old Arabian gelding began his endurance career last year after a shaky start. Thought to be a problem horse who was untrainable, he overcame many emotional issues to become a loving and capable partner. We completed the Old Dominion 100 mile ride this June in fine form and won the AHA Best Condition Award. Mercuric is on daily Platinum Performance and has not show any weight loss or stress from training and competition.

Lynne Gilbert

My horse, Buddy (Ramar Rhea’s Bey), is a 22 year old Arab gelding. I got him at age 8 as a completely untrained ex-breeding stud. He was on his way to be put down because his previous owners thought he was too “hot” to be ridden. He is a grandson of the world champion Arab Huckleberry Bey, and I got him for $300. He and I have been together for the past 14 years, we have traveled all over North America (he and I have lived in Massachusetts/New Hampshire, Idaho, Washington State, and now Ontario), and for the past 4+ years he has been on Platinum Performance, which has helped keep him healthy and active into his senior years. He was 19 in the attached photo, but still looks just as good! He’s not a fancy show horse, but he is quite talented and has been an excellent companion. He excels in both dressage and jumping, and is a great trail horse, too. I expect he’ll also be my son, Sean Thomas’ companion when he’s ready to ride (Sean is now 16 mos old, and has gone for pony rides on Buddy already).

Fran Bonier- Elgin, Ontario

We call our Arabian gelding ”Blackie the Wonder Horse”. His registered name is Peace Maker V, and he is the best horse anyone could ask for. He loves going to shows and being groomed by our daughter. Arabians are sometimes shown with very long tails, and his is kept up in order to minimize breakage and keep the length. I used to feed several different supplements, but when I heard about Platinum Performance, I had to try it. From personal experience, I have found just how important proper nutrition is, and animals are no exception. After a short time, his coat got a bit darker and shinier, his mane and tail are thicker and his tail drags the ground by 15 inches! It covers his digestion, coat, joints and overall makes a huge difference. He also gets less feed now. I will be a lifetime user of P.P. The results are phenomenal!

Dawn Voris- Fort Wayne, IN

My horse is a purebred arabian gelding named CA Ultimo+//(aka “Hootie”). I show him in Hunter Pleasure and he is one of the winningest Hunter horses in the country. Hootie has won 17 National Championships and numerous top ten’s. We started him on Platinum Performance in 2002 right before going to U.S. Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. Two days before we were supposed to make the trip to Louisville, Hootie came up sore on one of his tendons. My vet said that if we were very careful with him and don’t overwork him, we could probably show him. He was trained and knew his job, so basically we would just work him very lightly and take him in the show ring and hope for the best. We increased his Platinum to 2 scoops in the morning and 2 at night. We knew that at shows you could increase platinum and it also helps with the healing process of certain injuries. Well, his coat looked incredible, his soreness was minimal and he won U.S. Nationals Unanimously! I coulden’t have been more thrilled. Winning at Nationals is a dream come true, but winning unanimously is just the icing on the cake. Hootie has been on Platinum ever since and has gone on to win 16 more National Championships! Hootie will be 14 years old this year and he still looks like he’s 5. Thanks Platinum for Helping Hootie looks so incredible and being a big part of his success.
