Doctor Beetle Frost aka “JD” is a one of a kind. He has blessed our lives in so many ways. He is an 11 year old AQHA gelding. JD has a personality that, in our barn, is unmatched! Five years ago if you would have asked me if he was a kids horse I would have said “Definitely not!” Now almost a year, of riding him my stepdaughter has won over $7000 on him in the barrel racing world. He was a blessing in disguise for her. Last year we learned that JD had problems with his stifles and hocks. After injections, my vet recommended that we start him on Platinum Ortho-Chon HA II. It worked! He hasn’t had to be injected in over 6 months and is doing excellent, as teh records show! He is a rodeo horse and loves what he does. I plan to do what it takes to keep him there, not only for her but for him. He’s part of the family! Check him out at www.tracequarterhorses.com

One of my horses is Mr.E Jet, my mom, Heidi rodeoed on him for years and now he is mine! I rode him at the Sherry Cervi Youth Championship barrel race. We were Reserve Champion in both the 11 and under and the 18 and under. I then took him to the Professional Choice, in Vegas- 670 entries on Friday, we won that round. Placed on Saturday and Sunday. Finished 2nd high money winner for the weekend. I am 9 and Mr. E is 14. Mr. E has been on Platinum since an injury early in his career. I feel Platinum helps him be the winner he is. He runs hard and is hard on his body and Platinum helps him deal with all the truama to his body. Thank You, Platinum!

Idaho native, Megan McLeod, is making her presence known in the world of barrel racing. The 27-year-old Platinum Performance client declares that healthy horses are one of the most important aspects to success in her sport. With residences in Idaho, Arizona and Texas, and many shows in between, McLeod and her horses spend a lot of time on the road, which is why their health and soundness is her top priority.

We caught up with McLeod, on the road, at the National Barrel Horse Association Professional’s Choice Las Vegas Super Show. She turned in a successful weekend, with two finalists in the 1D barrel race. Consisting of over 700 entries on Saturday, McLeod garnered third place in the 1D on her 13-year-old barrel horse, “Uh-oh.” An astounding accomplishment for Uh-Oh, McLeod points out he’s recently been upgraded from “the back-up” to her “go-to-guy.” Uh-Oh also placed in the 1D in the Friday race of 670 entries. Even her 15-year-old, semi-retired horse, ‘Petey,” rose to the occasion to place seventh in Saturday’s 1D.

Running barrels since she was old enough to ride a horse, McLeod declares, “I always craved the speed.” Today, she mainly competes in the Women’s Pro Rodeo Association. She’s qualified for several tour finales and many major short rounds. And, in the expression of a true horsewoman, she notes that the biggest accomplishment is having qualified for these finales and short rounds on several different horses.

Although, like anyone on the road, her biggest goal is to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo. But, that won’t be her focus this year. “I have been mostly involved in rodeo until as of late. I had a futurity colt last year, who I’ve taken to derbies this year. I also purchased two 3-year olds this spring that I plan to futurity either as 4- or 5-year olds,” McLeod says. “My mom is a proven, and great, futurity horse trainer, and I would really love to follow in her footsteps, or at least get my horses to follow in her horses hoof prints.”

The past few years have seen McLeod on the road quite a bit. She is currently hauling three horses. With three on the road and others at home, she shares what it takes to keep them healthy. “Knowing every hair on your horse’s body is the most important thing you can do when traveling.” She explains that it’s imperative to keep them comfortable whether at home or in a box stall, while providing quality feed, water and shelter. “Although some situations are not ideal, letting a horse be a horse is of high importance.”

She believes that feeding a horse right is crucial. “Knowing your horses dietary needs can change not only his performance, but his demeanor,” she says. That’s why Platinum Performance is an integral part of McLeod’s equine-health regimen. She feeds Platinum CJ to all her horses on the road. “I think it is a great product and I’ve been happy with the results I’m seeing,” she says. “My family and I feed Platinum Performance Equine to all the other horses on the place. This includes colts, numerous head horses and barrel horses that don’t get in the trailer as much.”

After her dad discovered Platinum years ago and witnessed the positive changes in their horses, they’ve remained loyal customers. “Their coats got shinier and they put on a bit of weight. It helped to maintain the condition of their feet,” McLeod says.

Then, she started to notice the results of Platinum at a performance level. “Their energy level rose, and I was able to condition them better, resulting in better fit, stronger bodies. Even with a rise in energy levels, their minds stayed intact during training,” she says. “There are so many products out there that we have used and are great products, but when it comes down to putting my horses in the trailer and expecting to compete against the best in the world, Platinum has shown me the best results.”

Barrel racing can be a demanding and sometimes frustrating sport, but McLeod stays true to her own program. She realizes that what works for her might not work for someone else and vice versa. “The only thing I can really say is that there is no book on barrel racing. Ok, well there are lots of books on it, but some are going to work for you and others aren’t. That is the key, finding out what works for you,” she explains. “In the end, however, you have to have a healthy horse to consistently win. It is a big part of the game. Some horses are just higher maintenance, so knowing your horse’s diet, exercise program, and personality can really help to understand what a horse needs to be at the top of his game.”

Health Equals Success for Kerryarc Irish Wolfhounds

Showing Irish Wolfhounds is “not for the faint of heart,” as 15-year-old Chandler Collier-Tyler, of Kerryarc Irish Wolfhounds, puts it. And, one quickly begins to understand why when observing the dedication and commitment that the Tyler family puts into breeding and showing these magnificent dogs.

Longtime Platinum Performance clients, the Tyler Family, of Comanche, Calif., are veterans on the Irish Wolfhound show circuit. Their ranch, Kerryarc, is home to generations of champion Irish Wolfhounds that the Tylers have bred and shown.

Their latest achievement is proof of the success of their passion. At the end of May, their dog, Kerryarc Fast Cars, won the annual Irish Wolfhound Club of America National Specialty with Multiple National Specialty, Best in Hound Show and Hound Group. This was the second time Kerryarc Fast Cars won the national title, with the previous win in 2008. According to Collier-Tyler, the last Irish Wolfhound to win two national titles was nearly 30 years ago. “The thrill of a lifetime for a breeder is to win a national with a dog they bred, and even better, bred, owned and handled. We’ve been blessed to win it twice.”

The Irish Wolfhound’s exquisitely tall stature makes them one of the tallest dog breeds. Historically these dogs were used to hunt wolves and had to possess not only speed, but also endurance. They are often described as graceful with an easy yet powerful gait. An easygoing animal, they are usually quiet by nature.

“All of my siblings and I have been raised with the Wolfhounds,” said Collier-Tyler. “They’ve done some incredible things for us. We’ve met people from all walks of life, from all over the world. We’ve been able to travel all across the country and have had some incredible opportunities.”

The Tylers’ love for their dogs is ever-apparent and quite possibly unsurpassed with the care they receive. Collier-Tyler, her mom Mandy Tyler, and her 17-year-old brother Sam Collier, all show the dogs and take an active role in caring for them. “As breeders, being able to succeed with dogs that we bred through multiple generations of Kerryarc Irish Wolfhounds is our quintessential definition of winning,” said Collier-Tyler.

“Breeding, owning, and showing Irish Wolfhounds is not only our passion, it is our lifestyle. We put a tremendous amount of time into feeding, training, exercising and grooming every day,” said Collier-Tyler. “It’s essential as breeders of Kerryarc Irish Wolfhounds to monitor our dogs’ health and happiness on a daily and sometimes hourly basis.”

“Our big deal is health, health, health and happy puppies,” said Collier-Tyler. That’s why Platinum Performance is a crucial part of the Kerryarc program. Platinum is fed twice, daily to all Kerryarc dogs, which can include nearly 30 dogs, plus puppies. “From the time our puppies start to eat, they get Platinum. Even in gestation our puppies are receiving it. Platinum is essential for our Wolfhounds, but especially our puppies because of the fast rate they put on bone and their joints grow. We also notice when our puppies are teething, they stay up on their feet, and they are able to ‘rose’ their ears, which shows how strong their ligaments, tendons and cartilage are,” said Collier-Tyler. “They get the proper nutrients that Platinum offers. We see a difference in their brilliance, their overall appearance and general good health.”

Kerryarc dogs are bred primarily to produce future quality generations for the Kerryarc breeding and showing program. “As breeders, we emphasize keeping only the very best for our own program. We are incredibly careful of where our puppies go. We have a select few people who are fortunate enough to be able to have show puppies from us and breed with us. The balance of the puppies go into loving companion homes on limited registration and are never used for breeding. Having said that, from what we select to further our breeding program, approximately 98 percent are champions,” said Collier-Tyler.

“We attribute our success to a lot of hard work, dedication, team work, years of experience and staying true to the breed standard, making sure the Irish Wolfhound breed comes first,” said Collier-Tyler. “Breeding, raising, owning and showing Irish Wolfhounds is not for the faint of heart. Owning an Irish Wolfhound isn’t easy, although absolutely worth all the effort.”

27-Year-Old Endurance Horse Named AERC 6000 Mile Horse

Longtime Platinum Performance client Mike Tracy, of Hollister, CA, recently accepted the American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC) 6000 Mile Horse award for his 27-year-old half-Arabian gelding, Aron Moon+//, at the annual AERC convention in Reno, NV.

It’s rare to see a horse in any discipline successfully compete beyond their teens, especially in endurance, but Tracy’s senior endurance horse, aka “Moon,” is still giving others a run for their money. “He still does 50-mile rides and competitive trail,” said Tracy. “He’s been very successful.”

The pair have compiled too many accomplishments to mention, including five national and 14 regional titles, the 2006 International Arabian Horse Association (IAHA) Distance Horse of the Year Award and the prestigious IAHA Legion of Excellence Award. “He’s been very successful and I’ve been blessed to have a horse this good,” said Tracy.

One part of Tracy’s program that he credits his success to is feeding his horse right, which includes Platinum. He received a bucket of Platinum as a prize 10 years ago when he and Moon won the National Competitive Trail Championship at Live Oak Camp in Santa Ynez and has continued feeding it ever since. “I got it and I liked it, so I kept buying it,” said Tracy. “I think you can help your equine athlete by how you feed them. Especially a horse that’s in competition, they need extra supplements. Obviously something I’m doing has to be helping him; it’s not like he’s just been sitting out in the pasture.”

A recent blood test performed on Moon proved that he is in top condition despite his age. His veterinarian was amazed at the results. “I wish my own results were as good as this horse’s,” said Dr. Roger Bruce of Ausaymas Veterinary Service in Hollister, California.

“He’s like a Timex, he takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’,” said Tracy.

Tracy bought Moon when he was only four years old and had success on him from the start. They’ve competed not only in endurance, but in ride and tie, competitive trail and triathalons. In 2007, he received the AERC Pard’ners Award, an award which honors horse and rider partners who engender a spirit of friendship, enthusiasm and championship. He’s earned six Tevis Cup buckles and has finished in the top ten 41 times.

The list of accomplishments goes on, proving that Tracy and Moon are truly a Platinum pair.

Then her owner, who was by then my hero, broke her back. Honey was forogtten, and I had to take care of her FULL TIME. Hard work for an 11 year old.. I have proved myself a horse whisperer, so now i have mroe responsiblitly and people look to me for advice. Honey has had a hard life, like me. She founders alot, and it’s been a tough road. She’s been on her death bed about 10 times. She survived, becasue she wasn’t done with me yet(: and i wasn’t done with her. She wasn’t done changing kid’s lives, just like she changed mine. I would problaby be with all the stoners with out my horses. They have kept me on my feet. She will always be mine, and i will always be hers, till the day she dies.

Spyder Web is a 6 year old NSH. When he was 2 he dislocated his right front fetlock 90 degress, and damaged his radical nerve. He was hanging from a pipe corral, when we found him his temp was 91 degrees and he was in shock dieing. We put a cast on his leg every week for 6 months, gave him steroids to help the nerve regenerate. For one month he was only able to walk backward, the nerve that tells pulls the leg forward was damaged. I put him on Platinum Performance, Hoof Support, and Ortho Chon right away. Hopes of Spyder recovering enough to be a show horse was slim, but I have been riding and showing Spyder succcessfully for two years now. Last year Spyder and I received high point Training Level Amatuer Rider for Bear Valley Dressage Horse Shows. Thank You Platinum for helping Spyder fully recover from his tragic accident!!!

Meet Libby, my 14 yr old Standardbred mare. I rescued her 3 1/2 years ago and our journey began. She was never started under saddle, so we had a lot of work to do as my goal was to have a horse to take trail riding. Well, now we hit the trails as often as possible, and she especially loves the trails in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains (so do I). She has been on Platinum Performance CJ for over one year; I always get compliments on her beautiful, shiny coat…hmmm, I wonder what contributes to that. Thanks for the wonderful ride Miss Libby.

Hardin Wins $20,000 Grand Prix on Platinum’s Pedro

Santa Ynez Valley, California, March 24, 2010—Platinum Performance (http://www.platinumperformance.com) team member, Kristin Hardin wins $20,000 Scottsdale Spring Festival Grand Prix riding Platinum’s Pedro on Saturday, March 20, 2010.

Hardin claimed victory in the premiere class of the Arizona show, a 1.4 meter jumper class, on her aptly-named 19-year-old gelding Platinum’s Pedro. Although she is no stranger to winning, the accomplished hunter/jumper trainer and competitor doesn’t take it for granted.

“It’s very rewarding to win. I feel very happy for my horse that he gets the accolades he deserves. It’s a great feeling to have him do that well at his age,” said Hardin.

Hardin purchased “Pedro” nine years ago as a horse with the classic underdog story. He had literally been around the world and didn’t have the best reputation. She changed his feeding program, and then his name to Platinum’s Pedro, just knowing that she could make a star out of him. And, that she did; he has proved himself with a nearly perfect show record and lifetime earnings of almost $75,000.

She attributes her success to good care and a consistent training program. She explained that Platinum’s Pedro doesn’t go on any medications; he just eats his Platinum.

“He’s always healthy, sound and fit. He doesn’t feel like an old horse,” said Hardin. “I really appreciate Platinum Performance and everything it’s done for me and all my horses.”

Hardin is a 31-time national champion in Arabian hunter/jumper and sport horse division and a five-time world champion in the American Paint Horse Association hunter/jumper division.

Platinum Performance Inc. offers a full line of veterinary developed nutritional formulas for horses, companion animals and people—available exclusively through licensed veterinarians and factory direct to ensure an optimum supplement program to meet each horse’s individual needs.

I went in the stall of the sorrel horse, who’d recently been turned over to the Conquistador Equine Rescue and Advocacy Program. I wanted a closer look at the brand on his hip. When I touched his body, hair came away in large clumps. Aside from being emaciated (he weighed in at 600lbs) his whole body was covered in rain rot. I called the Director of the rescue, and volunteered to wash him the next day. Medicated shampoo was provided, and the horse called “Blaze” stood like a champ for 3 hours on the hot summer day in Arizona while I scrubbed, rinsed and repeated. When I was done I sat on an overturned bucket to watch, I allowed him to graze on the few tufts of green grass growing around the wash rack. After munching a few bites, he walked over to me, stopped directly in front of me, and stretched his neck over me, as a mare would to a foal. It was his way of saying “Thank you.”. I called that evening, to tell Pat, the Director, that I would adopt this gelding, whos’ previous owner had turned over to the rescue with little information. She’d told them he was a Paso Fino…when she forged a deal with the Sheriff to turn over his papers, rather than face charges, he turned out to be a foundation bred Quarter Horse. His papers showed that I was the 6th owner he’d had in his 8 years of life. There was little information given about what training he’d had in the past…I didn’t even know if he was saddle broke! He was completely unresponsive to the name “Blaze”, and because of his incredible personality, I changed his name to “Sugar”. His first month at the rescue, he’d clearly seemed depressed…barely eating, gaining very little weight, and unresponsive to humans. I began turning him out, and bathing him. A close friend provided me with a months supply of Platinum Performance, which had been recommended to her by her Vet. I also took pictures every Friday, in order to see the differences as they occurred. By the end of the first week, there was a brightness to his eyes, and he’d gained a bit of weight. By the end of the second week, he had the beginning of a shiny new coat! His appetite improved dramatically, and quickly he was gaining weight! After several months, he was well enough to see if he was saddle broke. He turned out to be very well behaved, although terrified of a bit in his mouth. Soon I was riding him everywhere, with a bareback pad and rope halter. He’s a perfect gentleman on the ground, or in the saddle. He’s taken care of several adults who had never ridden before, and has a way of teaching them step by step, how to ride. He’s now in charge of teaching my 2 year old niece how to ride, and he takes his job very seriously. He’s also learned out to pull a cart, which he seems to enjoy! I’ve had Sugar for 3 years now, and every day I feel blessed to have him. Although his road to recovery was not an easy one (he’s been treated for ulcers, skin infections, allergies, and selenium deficiency, just to name a few things), he’s been worth all of it. There have been times when I’ve tried other supplements, in hopes of something working better for him. Each time, we’ve come back to Platinum Performance. He seems to gain weight and muscle tone better, his skin is healthier, his coat is glossy and dappled, his eyes are bright, and his attitude is more playful as a benefit of taking Platinum Performance. Every time I’ve taken him off of it, I’ve seen a decrease in his overall health. I don’t know what it is, but obviously there is something that works for him, in Platinum Performance. He will always be a Platinum Performance horse, and the love of my life!

I have always had a dream of owning a spanish horse of some sort. When I was finally able to get enough money saved up I bought a filly named Jovana H. While we were out of town she was kicked by one of my other horses and ruptured intestine which was fatal. Luckily I had her insured and was able to replace her with her half sister Kirela H. It was horrible to loose Jo but a blessing to get “Ela”. Ela just turned 4yrs old and is a love bug, she sees me coming and her eyes light up. Together we are working toward dressage and maybe some driving. She is learning fast and we are ready to begin together as a team.I used Platinum about 5years ago on all my horses and I noticed the difference it made. I had kids in between and I am ready to start on PP again as Ela and I begin to work harder toward our goals! Here is a picture of us last week end. Me & Ela on the left (she is the bay) and our good friend Kali & Mulan on the right, on our first trail ride out in the beautiful Arizona Desert. Thanks Ela for being such a great friend and dream come true for me!!

This is my pony “Bullsy” he is a section B welsh stallion. I bought him to be a performance pair for my other pony in combined driving. Little did I know what a superstar he would turn out to be. Anytime I go anywhere with him it is like a media event. He has such presence that he draws a crowd. The number one question I get is what color is he? Palomino Roan. His specialty is combined driving but he has many other uses. He is used as a ranch horse to help break future cutting/cow horses, helps gather cattle and works as a turnback horse in the cutting pen and for kicks and giggles demonstrates reining patterns. He is a wonderful ambassador to show the toughness and versitility of his breed. Ever since I came across Plantinum I don’t allow anything else in my barn. Ponies by their very nature are easy keepers and prone to being fat. By using Platinum it has kept the fat pockets off my ponies and turned it into usable muscle as well as giving their coats a superior shine compared to any horse or pony on other feeds.

Grace is a seven year old Arabian I got two years ago. She was not even halter broke. I found her in Texas and hauled her back to Vermont and started to train her. I got her as a endurance prospect. I did a number of 50 mile rides last year and 70 miles of the Vermont 100. She had a metabolic issue. After that I put her on Platinum Performance, Metabolic support and Platinum’s vitamin E. I continued to compete in 50s through the fall and had no issues. In December I took her to Florida and attempted another 100. She completed with all A’s and was in wonderful condition. I also have cut her feed back as she seems to be maintaining weight condition wonderfully. I contribute this a lot to Platinum Performance. Thanks so much!

This is my wonderful gelding Neon. Neon broke his hip when he was younger and most vets who evaluated him said he should never have been sound enough to be a show horse after his injury. Despite the odds he went on to be an amazing show horse with the only evidence left of his injury being a dropped hip. I showed Neon for the last 11 years and he proved to be an amazing teacher taking me through the ranks of a beginner Novice Youth to showing at the AQHA World Championships and through the first part of showing in the Amateur division. Neon has been fed Platinum Performance products for the majority of his show career as well as now in his retirement. Not only has he allowed me to achieve goals I never though was possible he also was one of the main factors in developing my passion for veterinary medicine. Neon, now 17, is retired retired from showing while I focus on finishing my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree focusing on equine sports medicine and orthopedics. Neon still loves to work and is currently teaching other veterinary students how to ride or just providing a mental break from the class room. During the day he gets to spend time out in the pasture with his pasture-mates and gets brought in for the evening.

Monday, September 14, 2009 MONK wins AERC Champ Ride (9:58Hr. 100miles, BC Aerc, BC FEI, 1st place FW) Lucky numbers? The morning I went to pick him up (the 9th) I was listening to a local radio talk show, while waiting for my broken down truck in Oakland, and they were talking about the ridiculous notion that the 09 09 2009 was some lucky day or numbers or something like that. I thought that it was pretty unusually and although I am a non believer had it in the back of my mind that it was a good sign that MONK would do well. The fat farm was Lindsay’s mom’s house in Napa where MONK spent 3 weeks getting pampered with 3 meals a day, two back to back days of nice riding at Point Reyes. I was supposed to pick MONK up on Sunday on our way home from the airport, but we were in a rental car because my truck broke down in the middle of beautiful downtown Oakland at 5:30am. I picked up MONK an headed home to start loading the trailer, even though two days late. MONK still needed to be trimmed and new boots glued on plus mega hours getting loaded. The broke down truck and all the driving put me way behind. As soon as I got home I put MONK on the scale. He weighed in at 909#’s. The talk on the radio station immediately came to mind. 909 on 09092009. I did immediately send a text to Lindsay as they thought MONK had gained quite a bit of weight at the fat farm. His usual fit conditioning weight is 860#’s, his high weight is #882, so 909#’s is a good gain. The Ride The AERC Championship ride was held in Greenville CA which is only 3 hours from where I live. It is a beautiful mountain community with about a 3500 elevation with beautiful trees and nice forest type roads. The camp was held at a amazing camp called Copper Creek, a kids camp with more facilities then I have ever seen. They had showers, a canteen, flush toilets, a large arenas, large meadows for camping, ropes coarse, climbing wall, swimming pool, basketball court, volley ball court, BMX coarse, ponds etc…. Our Goal This was to be another very careful planned ride. We had looked at the finish times in the 100 from previous years. This was to be our coc so we had to finish the ride in 12:20 min. We also knew that the trail had been a little short in previous years and they had to add mileage to the coarse. So at the time of the start our mind set was that we need to go just a little bit faster then usual. Our back up plan, just in case the 12:20 was not doable was to just slow it down and use this ride for the other 2 star or better ride we needed and to do our coc on the flat desert coarse in Jan. Start to first Vet Check Lindsay was on MONK at 4:20am to warm up MONK for the 5am start. It was totally dark at that time of the morning but there was a almost full moon. Since I was not riding I can’t describe the start other then what Lindsay has relayed to me. She said she started maybe mid pack. After they got to the top she let MONK go a little. We were waiting at the first vet check were she arrived in about 15th position. MONK went to the vet box after a long drink where he pulsed down almost immediately, he passed 10 horses and MONK went out in 5th place. Needles to say he looked fantastic, he drank and drank and then ate a good breakfast before hitting the trail. We packed up and headed back to camp where vet checks 2 and 3 were being held. Second Vet Check Lindsay and MONK were 2nd FEI rider going out of the first vet check and everybody pretty much arrived in the order they left the first vet check except I think Lindsay might of been 4th. I was paying more attention to the FEI placing then the other riders because that was our point at being at the ride in the first place. Third vet check was pretty much the same. MONK looked fantastic, was eating and drinking and taking his electrolytes like a big boy. He is a very easy horse to ride and Lindsay was having fun. Forth and Fifth Vet Checks The FEI rider in front of us was Brad Green who we know very well. We knew that his horse takes awhile to pulse down. Brad left in I think 2nd place out of the first vet check. When we got to the 4th vet check, Rachel came in first, followed by Brad about 5 min later, and then 10 min later by MONK. MONK pulsed down before BRAD so they basically left together out of the 4th vet check. They were riding together and were in the hunt for Rachel. I knew that if MONK and Brad came in together that we could possibly have a 10 min jump on Brad. All 3 riders showed up at the same time into vet check 5. Rachel got pulled and BRAD could not get his horse to come down, took him 20 min. MONK pulsed right down and left with a 20 min head start to the finish line which was 13 miles away. I talked to BRAD to see if he was going to try and run her down and he said that he just needed the completion, so LINDSAY had a free ride to the finish line. Brad showed up 37 min later. He did get a completion and he did show for BC. MONK looked like he just jumped out of the trailer all day long, including the next day. MONK won both AERC and FEI Best Condition, Lindsay won first feather weight. I was pretty sure that it was a way short 100 but most riders thought it was real close. This win should propel us to the June WEG Endurance selection where riders will be selected to go back to compete for a spot on the 2010 WEG USA endurance team. See you in Kentucky!

I couldn’t have been more honored to have accomplished this goal with him. The best thing I can say about Kiddin is, he sets my world right everyday! Thanks for the ride buddy it has been a great one!

He workes the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion every season. He has a tremendous Fan club!! He has had some minor issues in the past but this year 2009 he has started having problems getting up. He lays down every night and sometimes stays down all night. The Vet recommended Platinum Performance CJ. We are trying to avoid injections and go with supplements. Only time will tell.
Porsche is a big quarter horse mare with a great calm trail disposition. She can babysit a young or novice rider on the trail or take an extreme rider over anything. She is just turning 5 yrs old and has been on thousands of mountainous trail rides. She will also jump over a 2.6 fence and completed a cross country jumping course on her first attempt. I haven’t found anything she doesn’t excel at including cow work and beginning reining. got to love her.

Pictured above is “Dakota” and he is a great trail horse. He is reg. breeding stock Paint. He is great on trail because there are no obstacles he can’t do. He will sit and slide down an almost vertical hill, he will climb on rocks, go over bridges, jump over down tree’s or just about anything you might encounter on the trail. We are going to compete at extreme cowboy events however he has never seen an indoor arena or large crowds. wish us luck.
