Cindy Bradley and “Bogar Tucker”

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

This is my Morgan gelding Bogar Tucker. He is a 10 year gelding. We compete in endurance riding. Last year I completed a total of 1510 competitive miles with Bo and his Morgan stablemate Axle to win both national and regional awards with the American Endurance Ride Conference. Bo and I are pictured here in February 2009 at the Eastern Mojave Scenic Endurance Ride in California Idaho. Of course both horses are on Platinum Performance to compete. It keeps them health and fit. We had no pulls in our 2009 schedule. Thanks Platinum!

Gene Limlaw and “Grace”

Grace is a seven year old Arabian I got two years ago. She was not even halter broke. I found her in Texas and hauled her back to Vermont and started to train her. I got her as a endurance prospect. I did a number of 50 mile rides last year and 70 miles of the Vermont 100. She had a metabolic issue. After that I put her on Platinum Performance, Metabolic support and Platinum’s vitamin E. I continued to compete in 50s through the fall and had no issues. In December I took her to Florida and attempted another 100. She completed with all A’s and was in wonderful condition. I also have cut her feed back as she seems to be maintaining weight condition wonderfully. I contribute this a lot to Platinum Performance. Thanks so much!

Monday, September 14, 2009 MONK wins AERC Champ Ride (9:58Hr. 100miles, BC Aerc, BC FEI, 1st place FW) Lucky numbers? The morning I went to pick him up (the 9th) I was listening to a local radio talk show, while waiting for my broken down truck in Oakland, and they were talking about the ridiculous notion that the 09 09 2009 was some lucky day or numbers or something like that. I thought that it was pretty unusually and although I am a non believer had it in the back of my mind that it was a good sign that MONK would do well. The fat farm was Lindsay’s mom’s house in Napa where MONK spent 3 weeks getting pampered with 3 meals a day, two back to back days of nice riding at Point Reyes. I was supposed to pick MONK up on Sunday on our way home from the airport, but we were in a rental car because my truck broke down in the middle of beautiful downtown (more…)

Mystiko, Song, EJ

I have three wonderful Arabians. Their names are Mystiko, Song and EJ. I have had then 8, 7, and 5 years respectively. Although Song is retired from endurance riding, the other two are actively participating in the sport. All three love their ‘jobs’ and eagerly run down the trail jumping all obstacles in their paths. They come when they are called, especially when they know that they’re going to get their grain and Platinum. In fact, they are so spoiled as they know they’ll get a Platinum bar when we’ve been riding for several hours. Now they think that all food in wrappers is Platinum bar.

Mercuric

Mercuric, a 9 year old Arabian gelding began his endurance career last year after a shaky start. Thought to be a problem horse who was untrainable, he overcame many emotional issues to become a loving and capable partner. We completed the Old Dominion 100 mile ride this June in fine form and won the AHA Best Condition Award. Mercuric is on daily Platinum Performance and has not show any weight loss or stress from training and competition.
