Meet Libby, my 14 yr old Standardbred mare. I rescued her 3 1/2 years ago and our journey began. She was never started under saddle, so we had a lot of work to do as my goal was to have a horse to take trail riding. Well, now we hit the trails as often as possible, and she especially loves the trails in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains (so do I). She has been on Platinum Performance CJ for over one year; I always get compliments on her beautiful, shiny coat…hmmm, I wonder what contributes to that. Thanks for the wonderful ride Miss Libby.

The second I saw her face, I knew she was a standardbred.. Very beautiful, always wanted one. Can you tell me if it is common for them to have a smooth gait? I think I heard that once.
That kind of looks like Dru Barner park, I use to live up there in georgetown, then divorce happened; Still looks nice up there though:)Are you riding her in endurance then? Ive heard quite a few people are using and doing well with standard breds.
