Denise Hinder and “Bullsy”

Posted by Heather in YOUR Horse on February 18th, 2010

This is my pony “Bullsy” he is a section B welsh stallion. I bought him to be a performance pair for my other pony in combined driving. Little did I know what a superstar he would turn out to be. Anytime I go anywhere with him it is like a media event. He has such presence that he draws a crowd. The number one question I get is what color is he? Palomino Roan. His specialty is combined driving but he has many other uses. He is used as a ranch horse to help break future cutting/cow horses, helps gather cattle and works as a turnback horse in the cutting pen and for kicks and giggles demonstrates reining patterns. He is a wonderful ambassador to show the toughness and versitility of his breed. Ever since I came across Plantinum I don’t allow anything else in my barn. Ponies by their very nature are easy keepers and prone to being fat. By using Platinum it has kept the fat pockets off my ponies and turned it into usable muscle as well as giving their coats a superior shine compared to any horse or pony on other feeds.
